Listen to or watch the News now and all the stories go round and round and everyone feels they know what should be done and then decries what has been done! Meanwhile here on the G-Rock we continue life as ‘normal’…but without the option to easily leave! Maybe it’s time to hibernate!

Locking Down Again.

I’d like to think it’s all a dream,

Not really happening;

But Covid’s on the up again

And Lockdown Two’s a ‘Thing’.

But now the novelty’s worn off,

We’re all cheesed off with it;

And no-one seems to know the rules

Or what they’re now permit!

They’ve shut the pubs in Liverpool,

Brought back the rule of six;

You’re not allowed to go to Wales,

Friends and families cannot mix.

Hospital beds fill up once more,

As Covid numbers rise;

Please retrain if you lose your job…

Dispute draconian rules;

Manchester’s mayor is up in arms

Says Boris is a fool!

D’you think he knew what was in store

When he became PM?

Covid, Brexit, Environment…

Wild times’re the past for him!

So…

Can we have a beer in the pub?

Dine with friends up the road?

Run and give your granny a hug?
