Day 30… The Big Night In.

That sounds like a very long time in lockdown!!!!

The Big Night In.

We’ve had a month of little nights in,

Watching telly with tonic and gin,

But tonight is new

And here is your cue…

For tonight is The Big Night In!

As well as our clapping for carers

We can watch the entertainers

For Comic Relief

And Children in Need

For the needy we’ll be torch-bearers.

It’s all about communities

Coming together in unity

Tune in your TV

To the BBC

And enjoy a night of lunacy!

R’all there to witness

Events that will cheer up us all.

If you like to dance, there’s ‘Strictly’,

Or laugh at The Vicar of Dibley;

There’s a home-made video featuring

Rita Ora, Duo Lipa, Chris Martin;

Ellie Goulding, Paloma Faith,

Will our screens embrace

Their take on ‘Times Like These’ they’ll sing.

Our spirit of hope and resilience,

Kindness and resolve shows brilliance

Key workers are great,

For them we’ll donate

For the needy tonight we’ll make a difference.
